CFO, Axcient 2018 – 2019

A PE backed SaaS continuity software provider. 250FTEs; $50M in revenues and its own Data Centers; Worked with CEO on a turnaround to return to positive cash flow. Complete restructure of systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, PE reporting, budgeting), and completed financial audit catchups for prior years. Selected by this PE Group to be included into their top bracket of CFOs.

CFO Agility Recovery 2017 – 2018
Denver, CO

A PE backed business continuity and post-disaster recovery solutions provider. A recurring revenue business. $50M in revenues; Reset data and KPIs, modernizing systems, reporting, and metrics to meet needs of Executive Team and Board. Managed the new finance system (Intacct) rollout and integration with rearchitected Salesforce CRM platform for new Best-of-Breed system.

Interim CFO, GraceHill 2015 – 2017
Augusta, GA

A Riverside PE backed E-Learning, SaaS business; Providing leading online training courseware improving performance for Property Management Companies; An extended interim role during enormous business transformation. Involved in massive and broad restructuring including to the Finance Department. Implemented a new Finance System (Intacct) and integrated to a restructured On boarded new CFO for a “steady state” role in Greenville, SC.

CFO HEALTHCAREfirst 2008 – 2015
Springfield, MO

A Riverside PE backed Software Development Technology Company, providing SaaS and Revenue Cycle Management Services for Homecare Agencies. Grew EBITDA by 5X, FTEs grew from 40 to over 200. Managed 3 Acquisitions, and played a key role in the successful exit to Pamlico Capital at nearly 3X cash on cash. Implemented new Finance System (Intacct). Personally Designed, Built, & implemented a new in-house “real time” SaaS Subscription Management Information System. Connected this with Salesforce, and Intacct to become a new Best-of-Breed ERP System.

CFO New Zealand Diagnostic Group
2005 – 2007 Dunedin, New Zealand

Formed from the purchase and merger of 2 privately-owned long-standing NZ Pathology Groups, by PE Czura-Thornton. A purely strategic CFO role alongside the CEO. Revenues were equivalent to USD $150M-$200M Million on U.S. price schedule. Made up of 6 distinct autonomous operating units. 600 FTE’s & 9 laboratory sites nationally. A Board of Director on the operating Companies. Instrumental with CEO on successful exit to Healthscope, a Public Listed Healthcare operator in Australia, at 2X cash on cash during the most turbulent time in New Zealand funded Pathology. Instrumental with other Executives on securing $800M+ (on the U.S. price schedule) of long-term revenue contracts under competitive Tender Processes. Successful acquisition and Integration of competitor businesses. Carved out 2 unsuccessful business units. Restated Financials under newly adopted IFRS reporting requirements. Negotiated with Trade Unions to successfully integrate Public Hospital Laboratory staff (60 FTE’s) into our Private Company.

ThyssenKrupp (€40 Billion worldwide revenue) a 51% owned Precision Engineering Company, manufacturing rotary transfer machines for automotive manufactures. Both US & German GAAP requirements. Started as the Financial Controller. Promoted to CFO. Introduced Machine Profitability analysis requirements when quoting, and manufacturing. Restated Financials under POC. Integral in new Product line rollout. Managed parent and 49% minority shareholder issues.
